My book was written for adults, yet my own young sons have read it multiple times, and my best friend's two children have read it twice. My book is filled with a mix of characters, young and old, just like in real life.Ted Crosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09022309459554237650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34218279.post-23497192894818764052010-08-11T23:47:27.173-04:002010-08-11T23:47:27.173-04:00"good old-fashioned great storytelling that t..."good old-fashioned great storytelling that takes them away from their uncomfortable realities"

Boy, I sure hope so, because that's what I write. :DMCPlanckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09239576472889126413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34218279.post-23031835479997155662010-08-11T23:31:17.605-04:002010-08-11T23:31:17.605-04:00Great blog post title. It's not just the engaging plots and the possibility, but it's also the angst and the emotional roller coaster that comes with teen life. Everything is more important, more dramatic. The characters feel more driven because the outcome means so much more.
I am forever a fan of YA.Lacey J Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17930985573303127061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34218279.post-80764111082701405882010-08-11T15:18:12.654-04:002010-08-11T15:18:12.654-04:00I am hoping some teens will read my YA, but honest...I am hoping some teens will read my YA, but honestly, so far, almost all my readers who have contacted me have been adults! And what do they like about my book? Hope. They almost all cite the fact that it's got hope.

That's why I read YA too.Joellehttp://www.joelleanthony.comnoreply@blogger.com
