Interesting piece on NPR about ghostwriting as a means to support one's own creative writing habit. While not for everyone, if you're disciplined and able to work collaboratively (even with difficult individuals), it can be a source of good income.

It's that part about difficult individuals that gives me pause. I'd go for this in a minute if I couldn't picture all too clearly the filthy rich, snooty sports celebrity with the inflated ego and deal-breaking Ideas I'd end up working for.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting article...my question concerns attracting more job opportunities. Are ghostwriters allowed to use the works they've written as resume builders, or are they usually bound by confidentiality?
